unsere Geldkrtifte auf die Missionsstationen in den Heiden- ländern verwendet werden können. So ist es von unserer Seite das reine Pflichtgefühl, daß wir eine Gabe des HErrn nicht abweisen dürfen, was uns zur Annahme bewogen hat. Mögen denn unsere, und namentlich meine schwachen Schultern unter der neuen Gabe, Last und Arbeit brechen, so ist das doch ein Trost bei der Aussicht auf den Vielleicht nahen Tod, daß das Werk nicht untergehen wird- da es nun nicht mehr auf Personen ruht. Und auch das- ist eine Freude, in der Arbeit des HErrn zu sterben. Gott fegve und stärke alle, Geber und Nehmer und Arbeiter. Nun bleibt noch eins übrig, wofiir wir wirken Und be- ten müssen, nämlich die Verleihung Von Korporationsrechten für die Anstalt. Die Anträge dariiber sind an die betreffende Landesbehörde bereits gestellt worden und wir haben die be- gründete Hoffnung, daß unsere geistliche Behörde diese An- träge mit Liebe unterstützen werde. Werden diese Rechte der Anstalt verliehen, so wird damit eine neue Verwaltung der Anstalt in Kraft treten, zu welcher theils Mitglieder der Ge- meine, theils auserwählte Männer des Landes werden zuge- zogen werden, so jedoch, daß die leitende und befchließende « Macht, die zum Gedeihen der Anstalt nothwenig ist, Unge- hindert bleibt. Betet mit uns, daß auch dies erreicht werde, dann kann nicht mehr gesagt werden, daß die ganze Sache auf zwei oder vier Augen ruht. Gott der HErr lasse mich das noch erleben und dann will ich gern abtreten, wie oder wann Er will· Gott segne uns Alle. Amen.

So it is from our side that there is pure duty, that we must not reject our lord, which has moved us to acceptance. May then our, and especially my weak shoulders under the new gift, burden and work break, so is it a comfort at the prospect of the possibly near death, that the work does not end- that it may not be extinguished- because it now does not rest on people. And also this is a joy in the work of the lord, to die. God may bestow and strengthen all, givers and recipients, and workers. Now there is one remaining, what we are working. And we must, namely, the granting of corporate rights for the institution. The applications from the relevant administrative authority have already been submitted, and we have the hopeful thought that our spiritual authority will support these applications with love. If these rights are granted, then a new administration for the institution will take effect, to which the members of the people will be drawn, but only if the leading and overseeing principal « power, that is needed for the prosperity of the institution, does not cease. Pray with us that this also is achieved, then we can not say that the whole thing is only two or four eyes.
